Vidéotron Affaires becomes the title partner of 2024 Women's Golf Week
Montreal, June 20, 2024 - The PGA of Québec is pleased to announce that Vidéotron Affaires has become the title partner of the very first edition of the Québec version of the Women's Golf Week.
The PGA of Québec is working closely with Golf Québec on this week of activities, and the two associations are working hard to create high-level activities for the development of women's golf.
Vidéotron Affaires was thrilled by this major project, which fits in perfectly with its desire to become more involved in women's leadership. What better way to do this than to take advantage of the excitement that the Women's Golf Week will bring.

ACTIVITIES
Women's Golf Week will include several activities, all taking place at Club de Golf Le Blainvillier. Here is the list and details of the week's activities:
Women on the Course Vidéotron Affaires Event
The week of activities kicks off with a Women on the Course day as part of the Women's Golf Pro-Am, now in its 3rd year. This season, 15 threesomes will be on sale, and this wonderful day is mostly reserved for women. Vidéotron Affaires will also be inviting its customers and some of its employees. This Pro-Am includes a cocktail reception featuring inspirational speakers.
During the event, funds will be raised and donated to PGA professionals and amateur women players in Québec.

Women's Provincial Championship (organized by Golf Québec)
From July 16 to 18, the Women’s Provincial Championship will be held and is the biggest amateur and senior tournament in the province. Admission is free. So don't hesitate to come to Le Blainvillier to see the best players and the stars of tomorrow perform.
Golf Clinic for Junior Girls
Are you 18 or under? Have you taken up golf, or would you like to? This is the perfect activity for you. Registration is free and 36 girls will benefit from the guidance of six Québec PGA professionals as they learn the basics of golf on July 16, starting at 5 p.m. at the driving range.

« LONG DRIVE » Demonstration
Immediately following the Golf Clinic for Junior Girls will be a LONG DRIVE demonstration with Savannah Meyer-Clement, currently ranked 9th in the world in the World Long Drive. An exhibition that promises to be explosive!
Panel on Women's Golf
Finally, on July 17, the Future of Women's Golf panel will be held, powered by Hiatus Golf in collaboration with Golf Québec and the PGA of Québec. This panel will discuss such things as: To play and enjoy golf, one must approach each shot with a creative and open mindset; let's do the same with how we shape the industry and the culture around it. A one-hour panel about the love of golf and new ways to share it around us.
