The Normand-Léveillé Golf Classic is going to 36 holes!

Drummondville, April 8, 2025 – La Fondation du Centre Normand-Léveillé held a press conference yesterday at the Hériot Golf Club, marking an important milestone for the 28th edition of its Golf Classic, which will take place on May 28.

In February, the Foundation announced a brand new partnership with the PGA of Québec — a first in the history of the event. The enthusiasm was immediate: " All the teams of the Classic flew away in record time," explains Ève Grandmont, Executive Director of the Foundation. Given such a success, the organizers have decided to add a second course in order to meet the demand for registration, while maintaining a high-quality experience.

This year, the Normand-Léveillé Golf Classic will take place on two courses: the Hériot Golf Club and the Le Drummond Golf Club, in Saint-Majorique.

This new formula will allow a greater number of players to experience this unique day and represents an exceptional opportunity to further promote the cause of the Centre Normand-Léveillé," said Ms. Grandmont.

Éric Couture (Executive Director of the PGA of Québec), Steve Lupien (Executive Director of Le Drummond Golf Club), Alexandre Gravel (Executive Director of Hériot Golf Club), Jean-François Forget (Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Directors), Ève Grandmont (Executive Director of the Foundation).

A PRO-AM formula with the PGA professionals
Thanks to the collaboration with the PGA of Québec, this year's Classic is moving to a pro-am format, in which each trio of amateur players will be paired with a professional golfer — an experience never seen in Drummondville.

" At the PGA of Québec, we are committed to getting involved with communities. The Centre's mission to support people living with special needs is deeply impacted by us. We are proud to contribute to this cause by offering participants a professional and unique golf experience," said Eric Couture, Executive Director of the PGA of Quebec.

For his part, Jean-François Forget, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Directors, adds: " It's not always easy to reinvent yourself with such a well-established golf tournament, but this collaboration with the PGA brings a wind of renewal. This tournament is our most important fundraising event of the year, and its impact on the Centre's survival is very real. We are deeply grateful to the local business people who support us year after year. Their support makes all the difference.

Loyal and committed partners

Among the companies that respond year after year, the Foundation can count on the unwavering commitment of Sunset Converting.

" We are proud to once again be the major partner of the Normand-Léveillé Golf Classic for a fourth year. The partnership between the Foundation and the PGA of Québec represents a great step forward. We look forward to taking part in the tournament as players and partners, and to continuing to support an organization whose human values are in line with ours ," said Benoit Laferrière, Founding President of Sunset Converting.

An evening not to be missed... even without playing golf!

The day of golf will conclude with a festive evening at the Denim Swift Room, which promises to be one of the most memorable. This year, Daniel Melançon, a well-known personality in the world of golf and the media, will host the event. His presence promises a dynamic and professional evening.

Good news: it is possible to book a table for the evening even if you are not participating in the tournament! It's a great way to support the Foundation, network and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Classic.
