SUMMERLEA, CHAMPION CLUB OF... CHAMPIONS IN QUEBEC

AU 9 1/2 WITH MARIO:  

A tradition returning to PGA of Quebec activities in September is the Cobra/Puma golf Pro-Champion tournament bringing together the Class A men's and women's players from clubs across Quebec.

The reunion took place on Monday at the Country Club course in Saint-Lambert.

The honours went to Summerlea with professional Steve Deschênes at the helm by virtue of their 12-under par 60 on the "vegas" formula.

Julie Brossoit and Malik Dao, this one from the Canadian Junior Team, completed the winning line-up.

Ki-8-eb, in Trois-Rivières, followed one shot behind with their trio of Luc Boisvert, Ghyslain Lemay and Micheline Cossette. 

Francis Bergeron was the host professional.

The next event will be the TaylorMade adidas Golf Championship presented by SFL at the Montcalm Golf Club on September 27th and 28th. The registration period ends on the 20th, so next Monday.
