The club's professional Le Cerf was due to participate in the qualification of the Senior Open of Great Britain on Monday.
Sured from a sudden malaise, we feared for the heart. An operation was considered by doctors.
"Ben is expected to be discharged from the hospital today (Wednesday). He is much better," says Jean Laforce, still on site, in an interview with his journalist friend Gilles Terroux.
"It was finally severe and amplified attacks of angina caught by Covid caught when he arrived at the hospital," he says.
Retour early next week
Jean Laforce is a very serious candidate for the PGA Quebec Gentleman of the Year Award at the year-end gala for managing the situation.
He is delaying his return trip a week to possibly return on Monday to stay watching over his travel companion.
"I'll bring it back in one piece," he says to reassure everyone.
