Martin Plante wins inaugural Education Series: Callaway Championship
BOISCHATEL (June 17, 2019) - The Callaway Championship Training Series was held Monday, June 17, 2019, at the Royal Quebec Golf Club in Boischatel in windy weather conditions. A training presented by Callaway took place in the morning and Martin Plante won the honours of the individual competition in the afternoon.
The professionals played the Royal course, in excellent condition, of the Royal Quebec, black starts, on a course of 6728 yards.
Martin Plante (Balmoral Golf Club) won the individual competition with a score of 70 (-2). A team made up of Marc Girouard (Le Diamant Golf Club) and Mario Forget won the team competition with a score of -4.
"I think it's really important what we're doing, we have to be there, we need to talk to each other and meet. Thanks to David Tremblay and Callaway and what is important is to be here and meet. Martin Plante said as he accepted the winner's trophy.

The Callaway Championship Training Series was the first event of its kind that included a morning training presented by Jean-Philippe Piché of Callaway and David Tremblay of the Mirage. The event brought together members of the PGA of Quebec to come together and fulfill its mission of: supporting members in their career path, valuing them within the industry, and promoting golf in Quebec.
