SENIORS Friendly Competitions

For several years now, Tom Bissegger, owner and professional at Rive-Sud Golf Club, has been organizing these friendly competitions. He offers our "SENIOR" members the opportunity to meet up a ten times a season.  Of course, there is a participation fee, 100% of which goes into the purse (after payment of green fees).  Teams are drawn at random, taking into account the calibre of play of each player.  Participants range in age from 50 to 83. A great way to mix generations.

All the necessary arrangements will be made to visit different regions of Québec.

NEW ADDITION

To encourage more "veteran" encounters, we're adding a "Match-Play" competition for teams of 2, which will run throughout the season.  We hope to gather 16 teams with a participation fee of only $20.  Teams will be drawn at random from two categories (A or B).

Competitors are given at least three weeks to play their matches. The aim is to encourage encounters and keep alive the relationships and friendships built up over the course of a career. Competitors decide among themselves the course on which they will play, with the exception of the final round, which will be played in a "Pro-Pro" match. They must make their own arrangements with the professional of the "chosen" club.

Playing format: 2-ball best ball after choice of drive or Vegas

Tees:

50 to 69 y.o. = regular tees between 6,200 and 6,400 yards

70 y.o. and over = forward tees between 5,600 and 5,800 yards
